Live Local Work Local Comes to Gillette

The University of Wyoming's Live Local Work Local program brought students and staff to Gillette April 11-13 to tour local businesses.

The purpose of the program is to show students the many career opportunities available to them in Wyoming so as to encourage them to stay in the state after graduation.

The 15 students broke into groups based on their interests and toured businesses in Gillette. Businesses hosting the students included Peabody Energy, Cyclone Drilling, L&H Industrial, Campbell County Rec Center, Children's Developmental Services, Campbell County School District, Heaven to Earth, AVA Community Arts Center, Cam-Plex, Alla La La Cupcakes, Ice Cream Cafe, Bennett, Weber and Hermstad, Gillette-Campbell County Airport, HDR Engineering and Wyodak Power Plant.
